Reflexology and relaxing holistic facials using natural, ethical and cruelty free products
Welcome to The Little Lavender Room...
CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...It is with a heavy heart that I join my fellow therapists and close the door of my therapy room until the threat of Coronavirus has passed. Like everyone, I am following guidance from the government and my professional body (The Association of Reflexologists) and will update you as soon as it is safe to re-open. Please stay safe and well. Helen x
NEW in ‘Letters from the Lavender Room’...A few thoughts on life in lockdown
from my perspective. I hope you’re staying well, coping emotionally and enjoying the slower lifestyle.
A place for you to rest, relax and rebalance and receive one of my gentle touch therapies designed to lower stress levels, as well as work alongside conventional methods to help manage the symptoms of conditions such as:migraines
high blood pressure
chronic pain & fibromyalgia
tension from back, neck or hip pain
Are you looking for a more natural way to help with stress, depression or anxiety? Or a chronic condition such as arthritis? Do you struggle with unhealthy sleep patterns? Or maybe you are just looking to navigate your way through menopause or improve your overall health and incorporate some well deserved self care time into your schedule. We've all heard how busy GPs are these days and conventional medication, although effective, can have unwanted side effects. You've obviously considered trying complementary therapy or you wouldn't have arrived at my website but why should you come to The Little Lavender Room when there are so many other therapists in the area?
It is important that you visit a therapist who is properly qualified and insured. Complementary therapy is non invasive but there are times when it is not appropriate to treat a client and times when a treatment should be adapted for the client's safety and well being. I am qualified to VTCT Diploma Level 3 and keep up a programme of continued professional development in order to make sure my skills not only remain up to date but are enhanced.
You will benefit from a therapist who understands and cares. Your well being is my priority and it is in my interest to make sure that you enjoy your sessions and that you continue to benefit from them going forward. I enjoy the holistic side of therapy and often research ways to support treatments with lifestyle advice. I also have an amazing network of other therapists who I can exchange ideas with, all whilst retaining the utmost in client confidentiality, something which is most important to me.
All products used in my treatments are ethically sourced and natural. The swing towards 'clean' skin care and cosmetics is accelerating and I'm proud to be part of this. I am very happy to be using Tropic Skincare in my deeply relaxing facial reflexology treatment. You will love these beautiful, freshly prepared products which are all naturally derived, vegan and 100% cruelty free. All pre-blended reflexology balms, facial oils and essential oils are sourced from carefully chosen, ethical suppliers and always tested thoroughly in my own beauty and wellness regime first.
Time. You may not have much of this precious resource but, while you are in my therapy room, you will have as much of mine as you need. On my foot reflexology and facial reflexology pages you will find details of each therapy and roughly how long it takes, however I don't book appointments back to back so you won't feel rushed when your session ends.
The Little Lavender Room is located within my own home and is cosy, private and well equipped to provide you with a warm, relaxing and sensory experience. If you are looking for reflexology or relaxing holistic facials in the Eastleigh, Southampton or Winchester area, please give me a call and I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have without obligation to book an appointment.
